Yuha Yoshikawa (Japan)

Hello, everyone!
I’m Yuha Yoshikawa from Tokyo, Japan.(I’m the left one of the pic) Nice to meet you! ...
I’m a first grade student at Sophia University and my major is global-studies, especially I’m interested in international politics. I like to walk, listen to music and watch comedy movies.

I have decided to join this study tour to find myself and to challenge something new. This is my first time to go to Asia, so I’m excited. I want to learn culture and personality of Nepal and I'm also looking forward to seeing beautiful scenery in Nepal.
I’m really looking forward to going to Nepal and studying with you guys

I am Sonuj Giri from Kathmandu, Nepal. I am a second year law student. I love reading novels. My favourite genre is romance and biography. I am obsessed with royals and celebrities. I also work as a content writer. I am crazy about zodiacs and personality traits. I can't wait to meet you all and start this journey which I am sure will be amazing. Hey guys!
I'm Hiroki Oda from Yokohama, Japan. I'm a first year student of The University of Tokyo, faculty of arts & sciences....
I have a great interest in international relationships, especially political and economical relationships.
It is honour to be involved in such a great project.

In one of the lectures of university, I have learned about Mt. Fuji (Japanese highest mountains) from various perspectives, for example, geological, religious etc...
Therefore I would like to compare Sagarmatha with Mt. Fuji while helping local people to recover from the earthquake.
(For example, I want to know if there is relationship between Buddhism and Sagarmatha.)
I'm also looking forward to drinking chai!!

Hello, everyone. My name is Daichi Yamaoka. I'm a freshman of the Sophia University in Tokyo and majoring global studies and area researches.
I like playing basketball and taking photos with my camera. I also love to visit foreign countries and see what I've never seen. (So far I've been to the US, Cambodia, and Myanmar.) And that's one of the reasons I decided to join this project....

I'm a fresh man at Sophia University and major in global studies. I’m interested in international cooperation, particularly community development (particularly making living systems complying with the demands of local people)...
I like to play sports! I've played volleyball for 4 years.

I'll be a freshman at Sophia University in next spring. I'm going to major in international relationships and area studies, especially focusing on developing countries.
I have huge interest in international cooperation and poverty issue so that's why I chose that faculty and also the reason I decided to join in this tour.
2 years ago, I visited Cambodia, but there was nothing what I could do to help them.
I want to make revenge and I hope this tour makes me realize amounts of valuable things and I want to change myself too.
I like playing volleyball, alto saxophone, and listing to music.

【Mero Sathi Project 報告会〜多文化交流で大切なこと〜】大成功!

【100人集まりました!!】
本日【Mero Sathi Project 報告会〜多文化交流で大切なこと〜】が東京経済大学にて開催されました。
集まってくださったお客さんはなんと100人超え!!
...
イベントではこれまでのMero Sathi Projectの報告会と、啓明学園の皆さんによるガンボジア就学支援の発表、そして【多文化交流で大切なこと】というテーマで会場の皆さんにもグループディスカッションをしていただきました。
ディスカッションは大盛り上がり!
大切なことは自分のモノサシで計らない、先入観を持たない、笑顔を忘れないこと…などたくさんのいい意見が出ました!!
とても有意義な時間を過ごすことができました!
本日お越しいただいた皆さん、本当にありがとうございました!
そして連日朝から晩まで準備を頑張ったスタッフの皆さん、お疲れ様でした!!
2月にはMero Sathi Project最終章がスタートします。今後も引き続き応援よろしくお願いします*\(^o^)/*
